Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine

As Dean of the AWIHM Program on Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and in the spirit of advancing the integration of Chinese Medicine into Western Medicine, I am happy to offer two new certificate programs designed specifically for clinicians to learn Chinese Medicine with the intent to practice integrated care.

The Acupuncture Certificate Program is available only to qualifying physicians and chiropractors at this time.

The Chinese Herbal Medicine Certificate Program is also only available to qualifying physicians and chiropractors at this time.

The acupuncture core curriculum is led by me, Phil Kosdan. I am a veteran Chinese Medicine Practitioner who trained with Ted Kaptchuck who some consider the grandfather of Chinese Medicine in America. I was also a former Head of the NC Acupuncture Society. I've been teaching for over 30 years both at acupuncture schools and in my clinic, I am knowledgeable, I love teaching, and students love learning from me.

While I am the primary educator, there will be guest lecturers for certain courses, all of whom are either licensed acupuncturists or physicians who are seasoned educators with a breadth of clinical experience and a talent for teaching that I have personally invited to be a part of this program.

I invite you to register for this training and take this journey or call and learn more!

Phil Kosdan, LAc
